The objective of this course is to provide new and existing DME employees with the competencies required to perform tasks in the DME environment. Topics include Medical Terminology, Anatomy, Physiology, Anthropometry, Biomechanics, Documentation, Manual & Powered Wheelchairs, Scooters, Ramps, Standing Aids, Environmental Modifications, Home Oxygen, Ambulatory Aids, Beds, Lymphedema Care, Transfer Systems, Diabetic / Wound care / Ostomy / Urological / Incontinence Supplies, Enteral Supplies, Trach Supplies, Nebulizers, CPAP, Intimacy Aids, and TENS. The program consists of a 24-hour online component that is comprised of video lectures, and comprehensive lab assignments
